On May 25, 2024 in Montreal, at the age of 19, Nikian Levesque-Vanny died in an unfortunate accident. On this side of life, he is survived by his mother, Phoudsady Vanny, his adoptive father Fabrice Desormeaux, his father Frédérick Levesque, his older sister, Malisaï Levesque-Vanny (Guillaume Ranger), older brother Shakyam Levesque-Vanny, younger sister Maïliane Desormeaux-Vanny, younger brother Émélian Desormeaux-Vanny, grandparents Thao Vanny, Nang La Vanny, Sylvia Martel, Richard Levesque, and many, many friends.

On Saturday, June 8, at 10 a.m., at St-Germain d’Outremont Church, 680 Côte-Ste-Catherine Road in Montreal, the family and friends will receive condolences. A memorial service will be held at noon.
