It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of our hero, our pillar, Alain Robitaille, son of the late Flore Asselin and the late Lucien Robitaille, following a courageous battle with melanoma cancer on July 9, 2019.

Beloved husband of Jacqueline Desrochers, admired father of Edith (Louis-Georges Morneau) and Julie (Martin Belanger), and protective grandfather of Victoria and Sophia-Rose Morneau. He will be sadly missed by his brothers and sisters: Conrad (Monique), Jean-Pierre (Diane), Michel (Manon), Yolande (Marcel), Jovette (Serge), many nieces and nephews, neighbors and long-time friends.

A former municipal councillor and volunteer firefighter with the Town of L’Épiphanie, he will also be missed by his many colleagues at Montreal’s Institut Louis-Philippe Pinel, where he worked for 35 years. See you soon, Dad, and wait for us, because people who love each other know how to wait for each other. xxx

The family will welcome you at our 48 rue Leblanc branch in L’Épiphanie on Saturday, July 20, 2019 from 10:00 to 20:00 where a tribute will be held at 19:00.

Interment will take place on Sunday, July 21 at 11:45 a.m. at the Marie-Reine-du-Monde Cemetery in Rawdon, Chemin du Lac Morgan. Relatives and friends are requested to attend without further invitation.
