At Centre hospitalier Pierre-Le-Gardeur, on November 27, 2019, at the age of 71, Monique Rivet peacefully left our world to fly to her eternal home, surrounded by her family whom she loved and cherished.

In addition to her husband Jean-Luc, she is survived by her sons Martin (Chantal) and Christian (Isabelle), her grandchildren Gabriel (Wanli), Elyse (Alex) and Vincent (Béatrice) as well as Jérémie and Benjamin, her sister Diane (Yves), her mother-in-law Annette (Pierre), her many nieces and nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, as well as an incredible network of friends and acquaintances who were equally important to her.

A woman of conviction and faith, she will remain for all of us a woman committed and devoted to God, who firmly believed in the Gospel and wanted to share it with all those she had the privilege of meeting.

The family will receive condolences on Sunday, December 8, at Église Baptiste Évangélique Terrebonne-Mascouche, 693 Chemin des Anglais, Mascouche, QC J7L 3R5 starting at 2 p.m. A celebration of her life will be held at 4:30 p.m. at the church. She will be buried on December 9 in La Purification parish cemetery in Repentigny at 11 a.m.
