Bleu ciel funeral home

Obituary Notice

Mrs. Lisette Dubreuil

“It’s time for me to take my leave”. This was one of the last sentences Lisette uttered before courageously receiving medical aid in dying on July 2, 2021 following metastatic cancer. She passed away in the arms of her lover of 40 years, André Boisclair, and at the side of her daughter Camille (Geir). She is survived by her granddaughter Mila, who assured her that she would always be in her heart. Her two sisters, Mireille (Lise) and Manon (Marcel), and her daughter-in-law Catherine (Guy) are also bereaved, as are members of André’s family.

Lisette leaves many friends who loved her throughout her life, as well as many cousins.

An intelligent, active woman who loves nature and her beautiful countryside, she worked as an economist for many years at Hydro-Québec, which benefited from her professionalism.

The family will receive condolences at our branch located at 4250 Ontario East, Montreal, on Thursday, July 8, 2021, from 1 to 5 p.m. and 6:30 to 9 p.m. A ceremony will be held at the funeral home starting at 6:30 p.m.

Lisette and her family would like to thank the palliative care staff at the Royal Victoria Hospital for the quality of their care.

In lieu of flowers, please send your donations to oncologist Dr. Petr Kavan’s foundation, the Voboc Foundation(https://voboc.org/fr/).
