Hélène Geneviève Berton, born in Nantes, France in 1963, passed away after a long illness on August 21, 2022 in Montreal. She was the daughter of the late Alexis Berton (1931-2018) and Geneviève Gerbeau (1932-2022).

At her request, her ashes will be interred in privacy on September 1, at St-Eustache Cemetery, in the presence of friends and colleagues whom she leaves behind. Hélène wanted neither prayers nor flowers.
