It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Martin Richard, who passed away on May 16 in Montreal, at the age of 66. A lover of cinema and music, and deeply committed to defending the unemployed, he left his mark during his 33 years of service to the Mouvement action chômage de Montréal. He will be remembered for his incomparable sense of humour and his ability to be both indignant and to enjoy the pleasures of life.
.
He is survived by his sister Lucille, sisters-in-law Nicole and Greta, nephews and nieces Michelle, Julie, Jennifer, Caroline, Marie-Ève, Alexandre and Guillaume. Many cousins and many sincere friends.
.
The family and friends invite you to our branch at 4250 Ontario Street East in Montreal on Saturday, June 7, from 2:30 to 5 p.m. for a final farewell. At 4 p.m., we will honour Martin’s memory and share a moment of meditation.
