Happy and busy: Marcel was born in Montreal on March 29, 1941. He died on September 4, 2023 at the age of 82, with his two daughters by his side. Marcel Delorme was involved in many organizations, including the City of Montreal retirees’ group, where he worked as a construction supervisor for several decades! Among his hobbies, the Quebec Amateur Radio group was dear to his heart. He was known as VE2 GMR. For a long time, he also enjoyed cooking many dishes, including the famous “egg rolls” with his chef friends! His travels took him to the four corners of the world! He loved taking pictures of all those wonderful discoveries! Of course, he also belonged to many associations, including FADOQ, so he could enjoy outings with his long-time friends! Walks, line dancing, tai chi, stretching, church visits and outings to the four corners of Quebec, he was always enthusiastic to participate!
Marcel will be remembered for his joy of living, learning and laughing! He was so proud of his two daughters, Nadine (Mike) and Mijanou, and his grandchildren, Félix, Sandrine, Amélie, Marïke and Nevé. He will leave behind many happy memories.
A funeral service in his honour will be held on Saturday, September 23, at the Bleuciel Funeral Home, 4250 Ontario East, Montreal. Visiting hours: 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
