On April 16, 2025, at the age of 91, Irénée Gauvin passed away, peacefully surrounded by his family and according to his wishes. He joins his beloved wife, Delcina Gauvin.

The memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 17, at 11 a.m., in the Church of L’Épiphanie, 131 rue Notre-Dame L’Épiphanie, J5X 2V5.
