It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our family pillar Mr. Gilles Desharnais (Gillo), who died on October 9, 2020 at the age of 79.

He is survived by his wife Louise Poitras, his beloved children the late Rosane (Martin Roy), Simon and Mathieu (Martine Caron), his loving grandchildren Penelope (Danny Murphy), Victor (Marie-Ève Lawton), Justin (Marie-Laurence Caza), Félix (Léa Sauvé), Charlie (Tristan Peterson), Nathan and Léo.

He is also survived by his beloved sisters Lise (Marcel Longpré) and Danielle (Pierre Laferrière), sisters-in-law Jacqueline and Francine Poitras and brother-in-law Claude Marien, nephews and nieces, cousins and many other relatives and friends.
