After an epic battle of more than two years with <a href=\"https:\/\/cancer.ca\/fr\/cancer-information\/cancer-types\/acute-lymphoblastic-leukemia-all\/what-is-acute-lymphoblastic-leukemia\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">T-type acute lymphoblastic leukemia,<\/a> our tall, resilient and courageous warrior, aged just 63, had to give up the fight.   <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"has-white-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-be5724f1a5ed888dc9124cbdb69cd46c wp-block-paragraph\">******************<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Born in Arvida, Saguenay, Mario was known for his love of life and people, especially children, of the French language and words, of music and choral singing, for his ability to listen and his invaluable advice, his sense of humor, disguise and derision, among other things.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"has-white-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-a77dfd71ac47dc7de6b94931447d7ff3 wp-block-paragraph\">*******************<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Son of the late L\u00e9o-Paul Turbide and Rita Saint-Gelais, he is survived by his spouse Marie-Andr\u00e9e Lachapelle, his children Charles-Loup (Klo\u00e9 Chagnon-Taillon), L\u00e9o, Tom and L\u00e9a Dussault (L\u00e9o Foug\u00e8res) and the late Jeanne, his brothers Marcel (France Harvey) and Bruno (M\u00e9lanie Desch\u00eanes), Carole Martel, V\u00e9ro Genette, as well as his family and in-laws, colleagues, choristers and friends young and old.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"has-white-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-7b57fc37c31e54206ea3e749895951a0 wp-block-paragraph\">********<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The family will welcome you for a farewell ceremony in his image at our branch at 4250 Ontario Street East, Montreal, H1V 1K3, on May 12, between 12 p.m. and 4 p.m.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"has-white-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-8d8c5721f3bfc41879ed995df79209c9 wp-block-paragraph\">**************<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What&#8217;s more, as you know, Mario loved to party and bring people together.
